Center for Interpersonal Communication

What We Do

  •  The Center for Interpersonal Communication is a place for leaders who really want to improve their communication skills. We know how hard it is to adopt new practices, so CIPC was founded to help leaders apply new knowledge so that it becomes the new way of doing business and engaging with others quickly.

  •  At CIPC, we use effective practices founded in principles of learning to help you move from knowledge to application. With the LARS model, you don’t just learn a new skill, you take it further. Each course is designed with real world application in mind. And to help the learning really stick, written or recorded reflections are included.  The course wraps up with each learner sharing their knowledge and application in our CIPC virtual community.

Professional Development: eLearning

  • Communication skills are a top concern of SBO’s and Business Leaders.  Strong communication skills are needed for effective leadership. Learning through traditional professional development is one way to develop new skills, however, is often not enough. That’s why I developed the LARS model of professional development - LARS: Learn, Apply, Reflect, and Share. With LARS, participants learn about a new skill and apply the new knowledge immediately to their own circumstances bolstering day-to-day leadership with actual new skills.
